How To: Connect to a Printer

This article will provide steps on how to connect to an SPCC printer on your Windows computer.

 

  1. Find the make and model of the printer. This should be available on the front of the printer itself; it should look something like "Xerox Workcentre 4755" or "HP OfficeJet Pro 9025".
  2. On your computer, click on the Start Menu.
  3. Do a search for "Printers", and click on the option that says "Printers and scanners".
  4. Click on "Add a printer or scanner".
  5. Search for the name of the printer, which should be the same as the make and model that you found in Step 1.
  6. Click on the desired printer, then click on "Connect".
  7. You should now be able to print to this printer.
