There may be times where the Internet Protocol (IP) address of a printer may be requested in order to further troubleshoot an issue with that printer. Follow the below steps to find the IP address of a printer.

Xerox Printers

1. At the printer control panel, press the Home button.
2. Touch the "Device" icon, and then "About". The IP address appears in the Network section of the About screen for Wired IPv4 Address or Wired IPv6 Address.
 

HP Printers

1. At the printer control panel, press the Home button and find "Setup".

2. Touch Reports, and then select Network Configuration. The IP address should be listed.
